I’m all for summer vibes, and since arriving in Florida, it’s all I constantly experience. It’s so incredibly hot, where most of the days are over 32 degrees celsius with a high level of humidity, so I’m always reaching for a dress or top that lets my arms breathe. I am literally sweating in places I never knew I would unless I were working out, but low and behold, my body once again betrays me and proves me wrong!
I have been so inspired by the runway and by other bloggers who do quick recaps on runways. With my latest move to Florida, I haven’t been blogging my outfits as much, but you’ll see more of them on my Instagram. I am so inspired by the runway, but haven’t had as much time to shop for clothes, but I got an amazing Zimmermann inspired dress here and here. I’ll also link those down below for you incase you’re looking for an incredibly romantic, yet affordable runway-inspired dress to wear to a nice dinner or wedding.
I’m just trying to organize the house and keep afloat. If you’ve ever moved, you feel my pain. I’m glad to be back to connect with all of you again!
Today, I am showing you a daytime outfit I’d wear on a trip or in town and showing you how I styled pearl slides. The trousers are completely wrinkle-free and moves so well, making it perfect for packing on a trip. With all the mom jeans and high-waisted pants, I thought it would be fitting to get a crop top, since it keeps it feeling summery, while I bare very little skin. This just makes it alluring, but not over the top revealing while I attempt to keep my body temperature as low as possible.
The top also translates really well for a nighttime look, so that means less packing, right? Pair it with a great trouser or skirt (in this case, I would go with one that has pink in the print or just all black) and you’ll completely change the look.
I finished this outfit with these amazing pearl slide dupes that are very similar to Miu Miu’s designer shoes. If you’re trying to pack light and reduce the jewelry you take with you, this really is the perfect solution. The faux pearls add such a beautiful punch of detail. It’s so soft, I often feel like I’m walking on clouds! I’ve worn them everywhere from grocery and furniture shopping to walks in the park and exploring the city as I have here.
Sometimes you don’t know if something is going to be a flop or not, but these are a true winner, and I’ve been so happy with my last few purchases! Since they’re so light and easy to wear, I wear them everywhere. I truly believe in investing in great, quality pieces, but sometimes I don’t know if I’ll really wear something a lot. These are really great for people who don’t think they’ll wear the trend past a couple of seasons/years. There are so many other luxury items I want on the list, so these are the perfect inexpensive addition to my closet.
I’ve linked the outfit details here below.
Here are some additional options if you are looking for similar alternatives. Some of my favourite shoes from this season are linked. These pearl slip and embroidered shoes are ones I wear way more than I had ever expected. I’ve also included Zimmermann-style dresses that I adore here.
