Miki’s experience in the fashion industry extends as far as 2003 when she received her first invitation to the Spring/Summer preview of Sunny Choi. Following the show, she regularly attended Toronto Fashion Week nearly every season. Since 2014, Miki has had the oppportunity to attend select shows at New York Fashion Week, London Fashion Week, Milan Fashion Week and Paris Fashion Week. She has since been featured in various fashion publications online for her style, including Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar, Refinery29, Man Repeller, Elle, Marie Claire, Flare Magazine and many more.
A seasoned Brand Manager with experience in fashion accessories, Miki working closely with marketing agencies in campaign management, advertising, events and sponsorship, while also liasing with fashion PR firms during her role as Fashion Editor for a trend and news-based fashion blog on the side. At the end of 2015, Miki transitioned from her role as Fashion Editor to start a lifestyle and travel blog and hence, MIKI À LA MODE was born.
Miki has had the pleasure of working with various runway designers and brands and has a great understanding of the desires and requirements of brands and agencies. She welcomes any opportunity to collaborate and has years of experience working with international fashion brands.
