As a teenager to young adult, skin care was far from being my biggest forte. My parents constantly told me to stay out of the sun and to take good care of my skin, but back then, I was a tomboy and turned away beauty products. I didn’t like how body moisturizers felt on my skin and was so bad at remembering to apply them after my shower. It wasn’t until I moved to California over a year ago that I realized how thirsty my skin was. For lack of a better word, the skin on my legs and arms were cracking, and I’d always notice them in all my photos. I wasn’t drinking enough water, the climate was hot and dry, and my skin started looking dull. This was the year I needed a complete overhaul of my skincare routine. I knew I needed to seek out for products. In the last year alone, I’ve tried dozens of skincare products, but the ones that stick the most are the ones that are ones that are simply easy to reach for. Having moved to Florida, I recently started swimming again, and am constantly in the sun. I don’t know about you, but when I get even the slightest tan, my skin would start looking flaky a few days after it has settled in. With suntanned skin that gets dry and even more dehydrated after a dip in the ocean or pool, I need to apply moisturizer to maintain a healthy glow.
I recently came across the Jergens® Wet Skin™ Moisturizer at Walmart. I read somewhere that after showering, your skin cells expand, providing an easy pathway for moisture to instantly lock into just-showered skin.
Jergens Wet Skin Moisturizer comes in 4 different scents.
Jergens Wet Skin Moisturizer with Nourishing Monoi Oil
Jergens Wet Skin Moisturizer with Refreshing Coconut Oil
Jergens Wet Skin Moisturizer with Restoring Argan Oil
Jergens Wet Skin Moisturizer with Cherry Almond Essence (exclusive to Walmart)
My favourites are the Jergens Wet Skin Refreshing Coconut Oil and the Jergens Wet Skin Restoring Argan Oil.
I love the idea of applying a good moisturizer that absorbs while I’m in the shower, especially since I often take one outdoors after a dip in the pool. For me, it’s the perfect way to instantly add moisture back into my sun-kissed skin and to maintain a healthy glow. Plus, it helps me prevent getting dry skin after even the slightest tan sets in.Jergens Wet Skin Moisturizer has hydrating oils that feel lightweight and keeps my skin feeling smooth. I only wish that I discovered this a long time ago. It’s honestly the easiest body moisturizing routine to stick to because it’s so easy to do while I’m already in the shower and I never really have wait for it to dry. I just use it after I take my usual shower and then rinse off at the end. When I get out, I dry off with my towel, get dressed and move on with my day. Dry skin is one less thing I have to worry about, and when you’re in a hurry to get out the door or rushing to get to something, waiting for your moisturizer to dry is the last thing you want.

I’m not even sure we have Jergens here in Australia but I do use the brand whenever I go back to Thailand. Such a shame, because I love all things coconut & I can just imagine the amazing scent from the refreshing coconut oil wet skin moisturiser!

I was just like you! I didn’t really care about my skin until I moved to LA. The dry weather really makes your skin thirsty. Jergens is really a great brand and I can’t wait to try this!
I am so bad sometimes at remembering to apply moisturizer daily. Especially right after taking a shower. I always try to do it right before bed but you’re right the best time to apply is right after you shower to lock in as much moisture as possible. I love Jergens products.

Wow! didn’t know that Jergens has this range. The only in-shower moisturiser I’ve heard of was from NIVEA and that caused my skin to itch pretty badly as I’ve got sensitive skin. Perhaps I should try this out soon – thanks for sharing!
It’s always important to look after the skin you’re in, and these products from Jergens sound fantastic! Thanks ever so much for a great post. Also, what a fantastic figure you have 🙂

I love the idea of applying moisturizer while still in the shower as I am usually to lazy to do it once I get out! Thanks for sharing this!

I have used Nivea before but it was a safety hazard honestly, product was too damn slippery. Curious about this product now, hope it’s available in my place.
First of all, your photos are amazing!! Wow! And this product sounds amazing! I’ll have to check it out!
