Runway shows and trends have been taking over my feed and it’s filling me with so much inspiration. It’s been awhile since I’ve made a conscious decision to miss fashion week. While I am writing this, I’m sitting in my swimsuit poolside with a waterfall and still thinking of travel and trends.
Back in early November, I stumbled across these amazing rhinestone boots, which are so incredibly similar to the ones I’d seen photographed on Saint Laurent’s runway show, but the price tag came at a hefty $10,000. Since last June, I’d been hunting for similar statement boots to wear to this past September’s Spring/Summer 2018 fashion week, but sadly unsuccessful at finding anything I loved. I’d seen the glitter knee high boots from CHANEL runway show as well and that made me want a pair of glittery boots as well. Since getting my hands on these beautiful rhinestone ones in November, I’ve worn them a few times around the city. They’re suprisingly comfortable and not heavy, even though the interior is very well structured and lined with man-made leather.
My favourite way to wear these are with a tweed blazer, skinny leather trousers and tee, but with the weather as warm as it is in Florida at 27ᣞC or over 78ᣞF, keeping it simple is best. I paired the boots with my vintage Louis Vuitton clutch and cat eye sunglasses.
There are so many great statement shoes and boots you can get your hands on right now without having to dip into your savings. I’m sharing my top runway-inspired shoes to buy right now under $300. These particular ones are out of stock, so if you’re looking for outfit inspiration before they’re sold out, follow me on Instagram and Instastories. I post my best purchases there since they’re often sold out by the time I do a blog post.
For those who don’t want white rhinestones or something quite as bold or tall, you’ll find black rhinestones boots, as well as ankle boot options that are equally as beautiful below!
For a city girl like me, I really love these. Not all trends are ones that you will love, but if you love a trend and find it’s unwearable for you, there is always a way to find something similar that works for your lifestyle. As long as you love it, that’s all that matters! I hope you enjoy this post.
