If there’s anything I love it’s a great party, and with holiday season on its way, and Le Dîner en Blanc Orlando revamping for its 2nd annual season.
I had the pleasure of attending Le Dîner en Blanc years ago back in Toronto when it launched in 2012, It was one of the first North American cities to have launched Diner & Blanc, and years later it’s expanded into various cities across US and Canada including Orlando. I am so thrilled to be partnering with them here, for their 2nd annual year hosting in the city that many refer to being the “Happiest Place on Earth”.If you’ve never heard of this inaugural event, Le Dîner en Blanc is a white party held in an outdoor setting in a form of a glamorous picnic. The concept first started in Paris and later expanded to a Toronto a few select large international locations. Now, it’s a huge event with 70 cities in more than 30 countries around the world participating, including Orlando! Guests who are invited to attend will enjoy a magical dinner in a picnic setting at a secret location that isn’t revealed to them until they arrive. Guests all bring their own tables and chairs to the buses’ meeting location where they load up tables & chairs and board a large bus and is shuttled to the unknown location. While is sounds a little bit wild to be packing your own tables, it’s actually a really entertaining and fun event. It’s a great way to have a gorgeous party with your friends and meet other people. Plus, how else can you throw such a huge, beautiful outdoor party without throwing at least a thousand or two away? Never.
Be warned that this incredible recap of the event from the prior year will make any viewer want to go!
Last year, 1000 people attended the event where guests dined at Lake Nona. This year, Christopher Abrahams, co-host of Le Dîner en Blanc Orlando has said to searched high and low to find a unique and magical location that will provide that special wow factor.” Registration for the event comes in 3 phases. They keep the tradition the same as in Paris and Toronto – Phase 1 goest to members who attended last year, who have the right to first refusal. Phase 2 are referrals from Phase 1 and Phase 3 are people who sign up on the site. . If you don’t have a referral, get your name on the list here. Dress code is strictly all white, so get shopping!
