Do we ever really need a reason to visit Paris? A city that feels so romantic with so much history, art and beauty truly deserves so much attention, but when it comes to fashion week, all eyes fall on the creative designers, runway shows, and streets come alive as all the cool boots and the great interpretation of the trends hit the pavement. This season, I once again was so incredibly fortunate to be able to fly into Paris for a few days to attend some official Paris Fashion Week runway shows of a few great designers who were revealing their Spring/Summer 2019 collections. Here is the round up of the looks.
ANDREW GN
Andrew GN has a love for art and translates the inspiration so fluidly into his designs. In the Spring/Summer 2019 collection, you’ll see black and white dresses with fringe-hems and transitions into colorful florals, fun party dresses and jewel tones. The bohemian dresses and glamorous gowns make you think of posh events and royal parties.

JUNKO SHIMADA
A collection inspired by Woodstock back in August of 1969, Junko Shimada celebrates a jubilation of colors and materials, a whirlwind of joy, a free party, carefree and light. The retro collection has a strong hippie edge. You’ll find fray-hem jeans, florescent madras, or Hickory striped denim, colorful printed paisley, powdery velvet, tiny printed perfecto jackets, suede fringe jackets and plenty of floral prints. Colorful outfits and oversized accessories continue to be popular for 2019.

SHIATZY CHEN
Shiatzy Chen always does such a great job of incorporating Asian art influences into the designs and the Spring/Summer 2019 collection was inspired by a fantasy world. Imagine seeing a world through a kaleidoscopic filter. Much like the magic of Alice in Wonderland, Shiatzy Chen is inspired by this fantasy of people stumbling upon a gate made of mahjong tiles, turning into the jade rabbit, which as lost its way, set off. The dream world slowly clears into a beautiful world and along the path, a pomegranate tree is laden with fruit, an image of blessing. This collection shows that logo accessories and hems, transparent tops and skirts, Some of my favourite looks include transparent skirts, slip dress and sneakers are trends that will continue to carry into the end of 2019.

Make up and hair really tied the entire look together. Dewy, glowy skin that appeared almost translucent really added to the entire fantasy world them.
