When thinking of fashion in Rome, I was reminded of the floral embroidered designs from Valentino and Dolce & Gabbana, so when I spotted this dress on Dezzal, I knew it would be a great addition to my closet – one to wear for a beautiful occasion, or in typical Miki-style, for scarfing down delicious pizza and sharing a bottle of wine while admiring the Colosseum at midnight beneath the moon. I love finding new online retailers. There are so many offering similar styles to one another, so what I really enjoyed about shopping at Dezzal knowing more about the designers who designed each piece. For every dress, top, pant or style, you’ll find the name of the designer their history, so you know who you’re buying from. There’s something really special about giving appropriate recognition to those designers who have their own accolades. Some designs, like the one for this dress, will have items that are closely inspirated by runway trends. Dezzal’s website is easy to navigate. You can view by designer or style, and save your favourites. The dress I received is a very close representation to what was advertised on the site. One thing that I would say needs improvement is the availability of the products. Sometimes the products are not in stock even though they are advertised to be, so keep in mind that when you place your order, they might contact you to tell you they are actually out of stock. However, what they have in stock ranges from great day to day pieces to special occasion.
Overall, I really like what they have to offer and the dress photographs so nicely. I like that they have actual designers to give recognition to, with knowledge, experience and education in fashion and design. I would definitely keep them in mind again and shop from them again in the near future.
Have you heard of Dezzal? Do you own any pieces from them? Or, have you made any purchases that are heavily influenced by designers you like? I’d love to hear! If you enjoyed this post, please comment below.
