I have been attending Toronto Fashion Week for as long as I could remember, when it was L’Oreal Fashion Week, LG Fashion Week and now, as World Mastercard Fashion Week (WMCFW).
The Canadian fashion industry is still developing, but some of the biggest names, including Narces and Mackage have created a name for themselves internationally. I did not anticipate being in Toronto for the week and shipped out pieces from some of my favorite Canadian designers, which makes me feel very embarrassed (insert big sigh here). I was in a bit of a rush, but here are a few shots of my outfit on Day 4.
I love a good deal, so often mix high and low pieces. Outside of bags, shoes might be where I spend most of my money per piece. When I saw this coat, I thought it looked quite expensive on, plus it was a great length, so naturally, I couldn’t resist. I rotate through my fall coats quite a bit and usually wear my biker jacket, so I wasn’t planning on wearing it a lot over 2-3 seasons, but who knows! I’m quite liking it. 🙂
