The Perfect White Boots

If there is one thing I love in my wardrobe, it’s my selection of shoes. Since I walk for hours and hours in heels, I’ve purchased my fair share and worn in so many of them.

Last year during fashion month, I walked non-stop day after day, and at one point, made the mistake of buying a pair that was a little too narrow for my feet. I wore them for a day and since then, it’s impacted the arch and I’ve come to the hard decision of eliminating a few favourites from my closet.

If there’s anything I’ve learned, it’s that even if we love something, it doesn’t always work. It’s ok to accept that what we love isn’t always what’s right for us, even if it is perfect for someone else.

Since last Summer, I’ve spent a little more time trying to find excellent quality, comfortable high heels boots. These white ones I’m wearing exceed my expectations. For those of you who follow me in Instagram Stories, you’ll have seen me wear these over 8 hours. I walked around New York City for 4 hours before ending up at a party where I stood in these boots for 3 hours, and in the end, stayed on my feet for over 8 hours without my boots ever slipping. They’re stiff leather, but real leather and the interior real-suede material gives friction to keep them up. It doesn’t get any better than that. If you scuff them a little, it’s easy to clean because it’s not the buttery leather I usually love for my handbags.

Like a pair of nude or black pumps, white boots are classic and are refreshing and great to wear year after year. Don’t be surprised if you find me wearing them all the time! My pair can be found here. I also hunted down a few other pairs that were in the running and I’ve linked them below.
