Before my first trip to Las Vegas, I thought it was where all the wildest bachelor and bachelorette parties took place. I’m sure you’ve heard of the saying, “What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas,” but let’s have some fun and break some rules. I’m going to share how you can enjoy Las Vegas – beyond all that excitement and fun there is in being single in Sin City, there’s tons of entertainment and fun for couples.
Being at the dessert in the Spring meant I got to experience perfect weather. My obsession with ruffles continue. I wore this pretty cold shoulder ruffle maxi dress and paired it with some gold flats and this bag which always represent hot weather. The dress is under $60 and the bag is under $100. Shop the look below:
If you followed my Instastories, you’ll have seen a couple of clips from shows I caught and amazing restaurants I dined at. I’ve listed a few of these below for when you head down for a visit.
THINGS TO DO IN LAS VEGAS AS A COUPLE
ACTIVITIES
Relax at the Pool and get a Pool-side massage – I love pool hopping. Wynn Hotel are adult only. Bellagio is one of my favourites to relax at. Monte Carlo has a lazy river, but can be quite crowded in high season.
Take a Gondala Ride in the Venetian – The entire area takes me back to Italy. Some of the drivers even serenade you.
Hot Air Balloon Ride over Red Rock – This is something I haven’t done just yet, but would love to do.
Go Up the Las Vegas Eiffel Tower – It’s not Paris, but it’s a fun little replication of it. Plus, the view is completely different from that from the original in France.
Capture Your Love – Take a cute photo next to the enormous LOVE letter installation inside the Venetian.
Performances in Magic, Sports, Athletics and Arts – There are endless options for shows. On this last trips, we watched La Reve and by far, my favourite of all acrobatic shows I’ve seen – and I’ve seen a lot! For magic, Mac King and Penn and Teller are awesome. Discounted prices for tickets online, but if you’re on the strip, check for locations here.
Bellagio Fountain Show – Catch a free water show in front of the Bellagio. Each one is unique and is synced with music. Schedule here.
DINING
I’ve visited Las Vegas about 4 or 5 times now. There is so much good food in Las Vegas, both on and off of the Strip. Below are 2 romantic spots I really enjoyed on The Strip.
Picasso – On my last trip, I went to this 2 star Michelin restaurant. When you book a reservation here, get the 3 course tasting menu with wine pairing and request for a seat on the balcony for the Bellagio water shows (mentioned above).
Costa di Mare – This is the best restaurant I’ve dined at in Las Vegas. Costa di Mare brings in fish caught off of the various regional coasts of Italy. The branzino and pasta are both delicious. We sat at the centre window of the dining room by the koi pond. This is one of the best dining spots in Las Vegas.
BLVD Creamery – Share a double or triple scoop of ice cream from BLVD Creamery outside of Monte Carlo. There’s nothing sweeter than indulging in a little sweet treat before a show.
I hope you enjoyed this post. Let me know if you’ve ever been to Las Vegas, or if you’re planning on visiting. If you’ve been before, have you been as a couple before? Do you have any favourite spots?

I wanted to go to Las Vegas when I was younger, but I wouldn’t have been able to enjoy everything fully being so young. I still definitely want to go and now that I’m old enough, enjoying it with my fiancé would be so much fun! This post gives us some great ideas on where to start 🙂

I hope you take advantage and enjoy the romantic aspects of Vegas! 🙂 You’d have an amazing time there with your fiancé.

I never thought LA would be a romantic location but thanks for sharing the places that can make it so! Love your dress by the way darling 🙂
I wouldn’t have thought that before either, but there were so many great things to do as couples, it’s a great destination to just enjoy a romantic trip. I hope you go back for a visit soon. Thanks!

I haven’t been to Las Vegas in quite a few years but have a feeling it will be on my bucket list for next year. There are so many fun things to do there and everything is mostly within walking distance, which I love! I always feel like I’ve finished a marathon after I’ve visited Vegas from all the walking and dancing =P

Ahhh I’ve been seeing this stunning maxi everywhere and it looks incredible on you. With the background you look like an absolute princess. Las Vegas sounds like so much fun. I hope I get to visit someday!

I’m not surprised. It’s a great print. 🙂 I think you and your boyfriend would definitely enjoy it. Thanks Stephanie!

I didn’t realize there were so many fun activities to do in Las Vegas until I read your post. I’ve only went once just to see David Guetta (wasn’t my idea haha) and didn’t get to do anything else 🙁 I will definitely try to do some of these next time I visit! This maxi dress is so perfect for the backdrop <3

That sounded like fun. Yes, you need to return and stay for longer. Take advantage of all the pools, too. 🙂

I’m in for the poolside massage and the triple scoop of ice cream! That sounds like heaven. I’ve never been to Las Vegas, but when I go I want to do it up. Not in the cheesy bachelorette party way. But in the glamorous, hi-rollers kind of way. Also I’d love to eat my way through the city haha. That Italian meal sounds delicious. Love your dress too! The off-the-shoulder ruffles are adorable.
I feel the same way about suits – stuffy and unflattering. I feel like a lot of the ones available when I was younger were one style fits all. I love the style of this brand! The long vest and the white suit are so modern and fashion forward. Definitely checking it out!

You always look glam, Yasmin. I can see you wearing the most beautiful outfits there. The Italian restaurant is so freaking good. I highly recommend it. Thanks so much! Have a great week!

Having been to Vegas a couple of times these are certainly tips I would recommend too, whether they be romantic or with friends, as Vegas is more than just wild parties like you said! I’m still in love with the wonderful water fountains at Bellagio and must say I probably went there in the wrong time of the year as it was just way too hot! I admire your outfit which was perfect for a romantic getaway!

OMG those fountains are always amazing! I think I stopped for them each time I walked by. haha. I’d love to hear some of your tips in the future too. I’m always down for something new in Vegas. 🙂 Have a great week, Thomas!

Aww I’m so glad you had an amazing time! Bookmarking this for the future. I’ve been to LV several times, once as a “fun” leisure trip with family and the others with friends. It definitely had that get drunk, party vibe but it’s so nice to know there’s certain activities for a romantic trip!
With love, Jenn

I definitely always thought Las Vegas was a party hub, but there are some really amazing things to do there. My last 3 trips there didn’t involve any partying, but I had such an amazing time pool hopping, catching shows, etc. I’m happy you enjoyed this post, Jenn. Have a great week!

You look so beautiful in that dress! It’s so flirty and feminine – totally my kind of vacation dress! I’ve never been to Las Vegas but I hope to visit one day. Although I have to say, it might end up more like The Hangover for me because I’m single and am probably more likely to visit as part of a bachelorette party than as a couples retreat. Still, I’ll make sure to bookmark your post in the future if I end up going to Vegas with a significant other!

Great tips, I visited Vegas years ago and saw a couple of those things too but I wouldn’t mind going back when I’m over 21 and have a wild night too (haha!)
Have a Stylin’ Day!

It will never occurred to me you can have a romantic date in Vegas hahaha but reading your post you really convince me!! Specially with the hot air balloon I been to Vegas many times and never heard about this. For sure will check this out and take it for consideration.
Thanks for sharing and you look absolutely beautiful babe!

Glad you enjoyed the post Marcy. I figured most people wouldn’t think of Vegas as being romantic, so I thought I’d share these tips. 🙂 Enjoy! Have a great week!
