Celebrations of any kind are always a favourite of mine, especially with loved ones. With a very long trip starting in just a week, I decided to forgo a big birthday getaway and enjoy an intimate celebration with Tom.
An everflowing dress was my birthday uniform. Intricate floral details combined with a plunging deep neckline and an uber feminine long skirt. As long as I didn’t spill anything on myself, the day would be perfect – and luckily for me, not one drop of ice cream or piece of chocolate cake touched this dress!
Tom made plans for the weekend and on day 1, we had reservations at the Polo Lounge in the Beverly Hills Hotel where we dined and got to enjoy relaxing music played by a live pianist. Their outdoor seating was so adorable with striped green booths, fresh flowers, sun, cute umbrellas and pretty baby pink walls. It was a really laid back day, which is exactly what I needed.
We both ordered Wagyu burgers with fries, indulged in cake and took a stroll around Santa Monica before ending on a double scoop of fresh mint and coffee ice cream.
What do you like to do for your birthday? Have you ever celebrated your weekend over a couple of days?
