Washed Over

The temperature dropped drastically over the last few days, so I happily pulled out what little of my fall wardrobe I had brought with me for a visit into the city.

The last time I was in Texas, it was blistering hot.  I had flown in to meet with some clients for a a few hours. It had gone by so fast, I didn’t get to experience anything that Texas was known for.  My first and favorite stop this time around was this amazing water wall. Stepping into the centre pushed out the stress and exhaustion I had felt from the week. Even if only for a few moments, I felt an overwhelming rush from the water crashing down around me.

I bought this short lace top and paired it with a lace bralette.  These wide leg pants are so comfortable and required no alterations, which is a major bonus.  I felt really small standing in the centre of this, but after a few moments, I stretched my arms out and really enjoyed it. I was having a bit of fun doing standing around in there, as you can see.

Getting to travel as much as I have has been an incredible blessing, but it has made it challenging to get to a gym on a regular schedule. Whether you’re working a 9 to 5 job, on the road or traveling from place to place, it’s so important to find an outlet, or a moment to yourself where you can find yourself again.  I was lucky to have that here and hope you all have more moments like those.

Oh my god, that coat! THAT coat. It is so gorgeous and looks so gorgeous on you. I don’t even know what to do with myself. I wish I owned one of those. I’ve been a tad obsessed with coats lately. Even today I had to do everything in my power not to buy each I fell in love with.
