There are many things I declare my undying love for: travel, ice cream, my husband, family, (faux) fur and lace. When you love something, you just have to wear it with confidence, and lace and crochet will always have a place in my heart. In fashion, there are key staple pieces that every woman should own: a little back dress, a pair each of nude and black pumps, a great pair of jeans, a well tailored blazer, turtleneck, slacks and a white shirt. I love the classics and while I was looking for a soft white blouse, I came across this beautiful detailed one.
Lace up detail is especially trendy right now, and this top strikes the perfect balance of feminine and classy. If you’re looking for a chic detailed top you can wear from the office and then for drinks afterwards, this is one I’d highly recommend.
It was actually raining in San Francisco the day we did this shoot. I still walked in it without an umbrella and enjoyed the sites. I paired this lace top with black faux leather pants from ZARA and over the knee boots from BCBG, but I’d wear it with a leather skirt and boots, or wide leg pants and heels.
What I love about this top is that it looks more expensive than it really is, and can be worn season after season. At this time, I love throwing a wool cashmere coat over it. Layering a cozy cardigan or faux fur coat makes this piece perfect to wear this winter.
