20 Stylish and Affordable Pastel Fashion Pieces to Wear Now

Last weekend I took a short trip to Los Angeles and as soon as I arrived, I didn’t want to leave. I only packed a carry-on for this 4 day trip, and one of the outfits I packed called out to one of the latest trends. Pastels were seen in so many amazing runway designer collections. While there was quite a range of textures and colours in various collections, numerous designers had at least 1 pastel outfit. Preen by Thornton Bregazzi had plenty of soft pastel looks hit the runway. There’s something so soft, sweet and dream-like about soft pastel colours. It’s so beautiful when the city is covered in snow, but so calming in the summer when the beating sun is on your back. Pastels remind me of cute retro diners and Easter treats.

During my very short return to Los Angeles, Tom and I made a stop in Beverly Hills. I didn’t realize how much I had missed living there and funny enough, it was the simplest things I miss most. I missed waking up and walking down to Santa Monica. I missed riding across the beach to the Third Street Promenade where I’d park my bike, go for a stroll and shop. While I deeply miss it, I know I can always visit, and hopefully catch a few friends next time. Like everything in life, you dream, live and you learn, and come closer and closer to figuring out what you want to chase next.

Since it’s only going to get warmer and warmer here, I thought I’d include some stylsh pastel pieces below. Some are great for the colder climates and there are plenty for Spring and Summer.
