If you ask my husband, he’ll tell you I love to walk a lot. I’ve somehow conditioned myself to walk for hours in heels, but when I’m expecting to be on my feet for more than 3 or 4 hours, I prefer to throw on a pair of sneakers. I just can’t bear to destroy my feet and I don’t want to wear down any of my favorite heels, especially ones that I covet – wait, that would be almost every pair!During a recent visit to Charlotte I went for a late night evening stroll. This time, I decided to keep it casual, so I wore my favorite T-shirt, jeans and a pair of sneakers. I really like animal print, so these subtle snake-skin printed sneakers add a little bit of subtle fun and personality to this outfit. These jeans actually didn’t originally have as many cuts or holes in them, and I couldn’t bring myself to spend a couple hundred of dollars on jeans that have holes in them, so I bought this pair and added the additional slices in them with a pair of shears.
We ended up passing by a great coffee shop with good lattes and a modest selection of tea. We eventually moved on and walked through this small park with all of these pretty mosaic tiles. As we continued, we discovered the city had a ton of really nice restaurants, cafes and art galleries. In fact, I ended up passing by some museums and unfortunately missed the featured exhibit for Moschino. Don’t you love it when you stumble across something cool and unexpected?
What are some of the best “omigosh!” moments you’ve had in your own town or city? Let me know – I love hearing moments like those.

True biker chic/chick! I will forever love this style. 🙂 My all time favourite.
I also enjoy the walks in my hometown when you unexpectedly find some place you never knew before.
My favourite finds are cafes of course (big coffee lover!), but also little cute shops with personal touch.
I walk a lot and I often find some place great.
