Paris Fashion Week SS18 Day 2

I originally stepped out in denim, but I am more of a trousers kind of girl. I love colorblocking pink and red, so I thought I’d take it a step further on Day 2. I really started off with the top, but when I found these amazing feather shoes, no doubt inspired by Prada, I had to have them. They’re over-the-top and feminine, which suits is my style.

On the day I wore this outfit, I met up with one of my favourite BFF’s, Stella Asteria, and Klara of Federato Rivista at the first show of the day. Stella’s husband was so incredibly kind and ended up taking these photos for me after shooting Stella’s outfit when my camera battery was drained. This outfit is so incredibly affordable, and these separates can be worn in various ways. Funny enough, the feather mules I picked up are a very close match to a pink ostrich feather belt (seen in a prior post here) that I removed from my luggage before going on this trip. I finished this outfit with this cute bow bag I found in Milan after fashion shows one evening, and this top, I immediately snatched up when I saw it in-store while shopping one evening in Oxford Circus in London. The Gucci sunglasses are a staple in my wardrobe and I’ve worned them multiple times. I’ll be wearing every one of these items regularly this season. I’ve linked the items down below!

All these years I had been going to fashion weeks alone, and it’s been so much more fun and memorable going with some wonderful friends. I wouldn’t want to do fashion week any other way again. When the Stella, Klara and I reunited, we all went into the show and got seated. If you watched my instastories, I showed the venue and all my favourites from the show on there. Alexstorm’s SS18 Collection featured sports-inspired looks. Oversized, full length trench coats with built in shoulder straps – ingenious for perfect for anyone who wants to remove their coat and not have to carry them. Most of the models wore colored visors that matched their outfits. I particularly love seeing the deconstructed seatbelt straps on the runway. They keep popping up over and over again and it’s a nice way to add movement for outfits that are fitted to the body. I’m a big fan of thigh boots, which you see a lot of in this collection. The models all had a very natural face, and the collection is very cohesive all the way through. Here are a few of the best pieces from the collection.

These mules shoes look pretty chic on you, they seem to be extremely versatile and ideally match different clothes. I like the detailing that fresh things up and makes a very unique detail. By the way, I made a post about 2018 mules to try this year, check it: http://stylefavourite.com/mules-shoes-for-2018/ as you can see, I also have some inspiring ideas.
